Full product description

Protecta Steel Paint FR-120 is a single-component acrylic paint designed to provide up to 120 minutes of fire protection for load-bearing structural steel. It is easy to apply, requires no primer or topcoat in most cases, and offers effortless cleanup.

Formulated with fire and heat-resistant chemicals combined with high-intumescent pigments and fillers, it expands under high temperatures to create a robust barrier against fire. This paint is also developed with ultra-low emissions, ensuring a safer environment for both installers and building occupants.

With a durable, slightly textured, non-reflective finish, Protecta Steel Paint FR-120 is ideal for interior applications where high-section factor steel requires reliable fire protection beyond what standard coatings can provide. Tested according to EN 13381-8:2013
