Protecta and Red Birch Deliver PFP Training and Technical Sessions in Serbia

As part of our ongoing commitment to international collaboration and knowledge sharing, Simon Ward, Export Manager at Polyseam, recently travelled to Serbia to work alongside our trusted partner, Red Birch.

FIRE SAFETY TRAINING ACROSS TWO SERBIAN CITIES

Over two days, Simon led four detailed training sessions covering the Protecta range of passive fire protection products. Each session was tailored to specific industry professionals — from installers to designers, architects, MEP engineers, and procurement specialists.

The programme began on Wednesday in Novi Sad, Serbia’s second-largest city. The morning focused on product application and installation best practices for local installers, while the afternoon addressed fire system specification and compliance for the design community.

On Thursday, the same format was repeated in Belgrade, drawing a similarly engaged and informed audience. Discussions ranged from technical product queries to real-world challenges on site — creating a valuable learning environment across all sessions.

POSITIVE FEEDBACK FROM THE FIELD

Stephen Newman, Director at Red Birch, commented:

“It was fantastic to host Simon and bring together so many professionals from across the Serbian construction sector. The response has been overwhelmingly positive. The sessions provided both clarity and confidence in using the Protecta range, and reinforced the importance of working with tested systems.”

CONTINUED COMMITMENT TO FIRE SAFETY

This initiative reflects the strong, growing partnership between Protecta and Red Birch, built on mutual trust and a shared commitment to raising fire safety standards across Europe.

A big thank you to the team at Red Birch for their hospitality and continued collaboration — we look forward to many more successful events in 2025 and beyond.
