Shopping Centre (Tallinn, Estonia): Ülemiste Keskus

Ülemiste Keskus is the largest shopping mall in Tallinn, Estonia, housing over 220 shops, 18 restaurants and a large cinema. It’s also the first shopping mall in Estonia to receive BREEAM status due to its lower environmental impact, using 50% less energy and 40% less water than typical developments.

Designing a building to BREEAM standards poses more stringent requirements as the building must be sustainable and the materials used must adhere to environmental requirements.

Protecta® firestop solutions were fitted by local contractor Tefire Group OÜ, as our products offer low emission of VOCs, low air permeability and consider environmental impact.
